ALAMOGORDO, N.M. — In response to the recent wildfires that devastated the Ruidoso area, Lowe’s in Alamogordo is stepping up to support those affected by launching a special relief effort known as the “Tote Brigade.”
Starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, community members impacted by the fires can visit the Lowe’s store at 4201 Scenic Drive to receive complimentary cleaning kits packed with essential recovery supplies.
The Tote Brigade will distribute 168 totes, each filled with items designed to help residents begin the cleanup process. The kits include contractor-grade trash bags, disinfecting wipes, safety goggles, paper towels, bottled water, a flashlight, and batteries.
