MESQUITE, N.M. – Doña Ana County Fire Rescue crews responded to a fire that broke out Friday evening, July 25, in the community of Mesquite.
The incident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on Ella Mae Road, where firefighters arrived to find a camping trailer fully engulfed in flames. A neighboring house was also at risk due to the proximity of the blaze.
Thanks to the swift response by fire crews, the trailer fire was quickly brought under control, and the nearby residence was successfully protected from damage, according to officials from Doña Ana County.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
