ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A man involved in a string of robberies across Albuquerque has been sentenced to six years in prison after admitting to multiple crimes committed last year.
Robert Jaramillo and Jacqeline Smith were seen on surveillance video visiting several Blake’s Lotaburger restaurants and a local dispensary beginning in March 2023. The duo passed threatening notes to employees, demanding cash during each incident.

Jaramillo recently pleaded guilty to two robbery charges and one count of being a felon in possession or transporting a firearm. District Judge Clara Moran imposed the maximum sentence under the plea agreement, ordering Jaramillo to serve six years behind bars.
