New Mexico National Guard Member Arrested at Albuquerque Bar

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A night out at the Dirty Bourbon Bar took a serious turn for Selena Martinez, a member of the New Mexico National Guard, when she was arrested after a confrontation with bar staff.

Authorities say Martinez was asked to leave the establishment last Thursday due to intoxication. As she exited, police report that she struck a bouncer and was subsequently handcuffed. However, as she attempted to flee, Martinez allegedly assaulted another bouncer.

After a prolonged struggle, officers were able to detain Martinez and place her in custody. She now faces several charges, including multiple counts of battery and resisting arrest.
