No Injuries Reported in Small Fire at Albuquerque’s Crossroads Motel

A fire broke out Monday at the Crossroads Motel along Central Avenue in Albuquerque, prompting a swift response from Albuquerque Fire Rescue. Crews arrived on scene and were able to contain the blaze within 20 minutes.

According to AFR, the fire originated in a wall on the building’s east side. Flames and heat caused damage to the wall itself, impacted several adjacent rooms, and left visible damage to the building’s exterior.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Fire officials are currently investigating the cause of the incident.

AFR is also coordinating with motel management to assess whether four individuals impacted by the fire will require any additional support or temporary housing.
